Nannies apply to us with a complete set of documents, including references and a criminal records check. We also actively seek references and review everything carefully through a structured process. We meet with nannies on several occasions so that we can develop a good sense of their personality and what they are looking for. Only in this way can we create the perfect match between the expectations and needs of parents and the wishes of our nannies. The final say in selecting a nanny always rests with the parents. Your gut feeling plays a decisive role in the selection process and ensures that the chemistry between all parties is right.

You clarify your needs and requirements for your child and engage actively with the placement process. You prepare your child carefully for the upcoming change and the new care arrangement. You allow sufficient time to be able to accompany your child through the settling-in phase. It is also essential that you include your child in your personal liability insurance. You are prepared to inform the carer about your child's habits and any particular characteristics, as well as the family's daily routine, and to hold regular conversations with them. You are prepared to remunerate the nanny appropriately for their services and to pay promptly.

The fee schedule forms a binding part of the contractual arrangements. We conclude an employment contract with the nannies, setting out the legal and financial provisions regarding salary payments, social benefits, insurance, and so forth. Finances are handled through Lüscher's Happy Nannies; that is, we are responsible for salary payments to the Happy Nannies and invoice the parents accordingly. The care agreements, confidentiality obligations, fee schedule, and fee regulations are acknowledged, adhered to, and accepted by the parents. Care costs must be paid promptly. Should any changes arise, you are obliged to inform Lüscher's Happy Nannies immediately. The first 3 months are considered a trial period. During this time, either party may terminate the contract with 7 days' notice. Thereafter, termination requires 3 months' notice to the end of the month. We are available to you for questions and concerns, and will, where necessary, hold discussions with you and the Happy Nannies. In particularly serious cases of misconduct, the contract may of course be terminated at short notice.

We hold regular review meetings with both the nannies and the parents, enabling us to gather feedback early and offer guidance for a productive working relationship. Should conflicts arise, we are of course there for you and will conduct the necessary conversations. In serious cases, both parties naturally have the right to terminate the contract at short notice.

The association is distinguished in particular by the fact that no placement fee is charged. The annual membership fee is CHF 80. In return, the association handles all administrative, accounting, and insurance-related tasks in connection with the placement, as well as salary payments.

Our goal is to provide targeted support to families and to assist mothers and fathers in their day-to-day lives, so that more time and calm remain for what truly matters: the family.
