The Application Process

1

Submit Your Application

Send us your application documents by email. We require: a CV, relevant diplomas and certificates, references, and a brief cover letter.

2

Reference Check

With your consent, we will contact your references. We also require a current criminal records check.

3

Initial Introduction

Once we have reviewed your documents, we look forward to an initial personal meeting. We would like to get to know you, understand your motivation, and discuss your expectations.

4

Trial Session

Before the collaboration with a family begins, we arrange a trial session at the family's home. This allows both parties to see whether the arrangement is a good fit. It is important that both sides feel comfortable with the prospect of working together.

5

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I necessarily need a childcare qualification?

No — you can also work with us without a formal qualification, provided you have several years of demonstrable childcare experience and excellent references.

How many hours per week must I work?

That is entirely up to you! We place both full-time and part-time positions. Let us know your availability and we will find suitable families.

What happens if I fall ill?

In the event of illness, statutory regulations apply. We will support you in arranging cover care for the family.

Can I work with more than one family at a time?

Yes, that is perfectly possible! Many of our nannies care for several families on different days of the week.

Am I employed by the association or by the family?

You are employed by the family and work on-site at their home. We handle all administrative matters on your behalf and are your primary point of contact for any administrative questions. For all questions relating to childcare, the family is there to support you.
